Playful Pin-Up Auriel - For Adults Only

Welcome today to a special hot hot hot birthday card I made for a super sweet special friend's 60th birthday!!!! I hope no one is offended by my card but I must tell you that it was well-received!!!!



Now onto the recipe - 
RECIPE:

  • Card was cut 4.25 x 11-inches using Red Recollections Cardstock then scored in half using my Martha Stewart Scoreboard
  • Back ground from Recollections Black and White Collection cut 4 x 4.75 inches
  • Digital image from The Stamping Chef Auriel
  • Sentiment from was hand-written using my Sakura #3 Microsoft Calligraphy Pen and then placed on a label cut using Cricut Lacey Labels
  • Colored with my Spectrum Noir Markers, and hi-lighted with Prisma Colored Pencils and Gelly Pens
  • Trim is Black Lycra Decorative Trim
  • Garter is from an older garter belt
  • Inside sentiment was also done using my Sakura #3 Microsoft Calligraphy Pen 


Treasure Box Designs has a section called Playful Pin-Ups which I just love as it reminds me of World War II pin-ups along with the decorative paintings on the nose of planes.

New Release Tuesday - The Stamping Chef Culinary Claire


Its a new release Tuesday at  The Stamping Chef !!! Today she has cooked up for several goodies for you and I decided to use Culinary Claire are you ready??? 

She's one hot chef that loves to tempt with her talents!!!


Now, for the recipe:
  • card was cut using blue Recollections paper 4.25 x 11 inches and then scored at 5.5-inches using Martha Stewart Score Board
  • background was cut at 4 inches x 5.25 inches with a chocolate chip paper from my stash
  • Culinary Claire
  • she was colored with my Spectrum Noir Markers, eyelashes and eyes were colored using my Gelly  Pens 
  • Glossy Accents was used for the batter dripping off her finers and off and on the spoon
  • rhinestones from Miriam's Crafting Supplies
  • sentiment is "This calls for chocolate" from Create with TLC Freebie which was then puff-dotted on my card after inking around the edges
  • Happy Birthday was hand-written using calligraphy and my AP Graphic #3 Sakura Ink Products

Think Spring

It’s time to start thinking SPRING!!!! I’ve had enuf cold weather, snow, sleet, and did I mention cold weather??? Its time for SPRING!!!!

For my project today, I combined two (2) of Treasure Box Designs and then can you say “Biggie Size” this to 12 – inches tall to hang on our front door!!!!




RECIPE:

  • On Make the Cut, arranged pieces together and welded for background to make sturdier - I also welded a circle to attach my ribbon through before I added the other pieces to the black Recollections cardstock


  • Enlarged pieces to fit on background and separated into colors
  • Butterfly body is Recollections polka dots cardstock
  • Butterfly shoes and head band are www.coredinationsFoundatins.com
  • Butterfly wings, teddy’s eyes, and antennae top circles are Recollections black cardstock
  • Butterfly collar and bows are yellow check from Recollections
  • Bear is Recollections Brown cardstock
  • All edges were chalked with Inkadinkadoo Chalks
  • Hi-light around eyes are White, Glitter Green, and Black Gelly Roll Pens
  • Eyelashes are Black Avery Gel Works
