It's a New Year and a New Challenge At Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Blog - Clean and Simple

This week at Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenge Blog our wonderful sponsor is Daydream Digital Stamps!!!! Of course it's Anything Goes but this week with an optional twist - CAS (clean and simple)!!! 

 It's morning ritual making a pot of tea and sitting here in front of my computer with my cup of tea and sharing with friends on Facebook - thus the inspiration for my cup of tea card using Daydream Digital Stamps Tea Sentiment Set:


RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • card was cut using Cricut A Child's Year teacup card and teal Recollection cardstock at 5.5 inches
  • background, Blue Floral, is paper I had found at Tuesday Morning - 25 sheets for $1.99 
  • sentiment, "Tea Time is the Best Time Especially if Tea Time is Spent with You", has rounded corners and chalked around the edges
  • tea bags are also from Daydream Digital Stamps, "Where there is tea, there is hope" and "Tea with a friend is a treasure" were fussy cut and chalked around the edges with teal baker's twine attaching them to the card

Gift Tags for Tag Exchange

Granted, Christmas is over but I had  wanted to share them with you today Christmas gift tags that I had made. On Facebook, I have a group called "Her Craftiness" where we occasionally have swaps!!!! Simple Elegant Cards

Happy New Year!!!!!! Here's to a wonderful creative New Year!!!!

 Granted, Christmas is over but I had gone a bit crazy at the last minute making Christmas cards with these being a few of them and just wanted to share them with you today!!!!



I had created the svg file and have used these in several projects. I have showcased the candle along with the 3 ornaments using the vinyl. At Pat Catan's I had found a package of 25 gold cards with matching envelopes and thought how elegant these would be in Christmas cards and thus, the Holy Family and the Three Kings cards were created with a simple sentiment which had been from Create with TLC.

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • size A2 gold card by David Tutera
  • images were cut using black Recollection
  • Stickles was added to the stars
  • sentiments, "Behold! I bring you good tiding of great Joy, which shall be to all people. Luke 2:10", "Joy to the World", and "Peace on Earth" had been from the Christmas/Winter Club from 2013 from  Create with TLC  which were chalked around the edges
