Every Smile Makes You a Day Younger and a New Challenge at Creates and Make

I'm the newest member of the Creates and Make Challenge Blog Design with the Challenge for May 30th, "Yellow Just For Fun"
                        
For my project, I made this birthday card for a friend using the Beautiful Fae 7 from Morgan's Art World along with yellow roses, butterfly, and sentiments from Create with TLC


RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • card is 5x7 with Recollection Tre Chic for the background  
  • image was colored with Spectrum Noir and Whisper Stroke Markers, gel pen accents and fussy cut around the edges
  • Spectrum Noir Sparkles Brush was used on her shawl for a slight sparkle
  • cameo frame was cut using Darice Embossing Die Cuts
  • flowers are Recollections
  • Butterfly is from K&Co puff-dotted to add additional dimension
  • sentiments are from Create with TLC cut using Darice Embossing Die Cut and chalked around the edges

Susie and I have such fun in our Water Aerobic Class and smile and giggle - which makes these sentiments purrfect for her!!!!! I can't wait to see your projects!!!

Sometimes I Just Need to Throw a Tantrum with a New Challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog

It's a new challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog? Challenge #251 - Washi Tape!!! I love using Washi Tape and what a great opportunity and chance to use it with our fabulous sponsor, All Dressed Up:
          
                                          
                                     

For my project, I chose for my project Little Flower Fairy which I thought was totally sweet and adorable with a sentiment from Create with TLC


The poppies remind me of my grandmother's yard as she had a border of these beautiful red poppies lining the path to her rose garden!

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • card is size A2 Recollection card stock
  • background is DCWV The Heritage Stack fussy cut to get the word "HAPPY" included for my card
  • image was colored with Spectrum Noir and Whisper Stroke Markers, gel pen and Stickles accents, fussy cut around the edges 
  • grass was cut using EKG border punch
  • Washi tape is the beautiful side treatment of the antique frames
  • sentiment is from Create with TLC was cut using Darice Embossing Die Cut and chalked around the edges

This adorable little puppy thought he would bring Mom a flower for Mother's Day:

Happy Mother's Day Jen!!!!

It's a new challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge BlogChallenge #249 - Mother's Day!!! This card was made for my daughter for Mother's Day!!! She is a wonderful mother to my two beautiful grandchildren, Lily and Adam.

M is for Mom

To My Wonderful Friend on Mother's Day

If you have followed me, you know my love of buttons!!!! This image is the purrfect compliment with my love of buttons along with a Mother's Day wish with button flowers in a mason jar, Bakers Twine along with a cup of tea:

God Bless Dylan on His Baptism

I had made a special baptismal card which I had wanted to share with you today using Mo's Digital Pencil. I had seen this picture several times on Pinterest and knew I just had to have it!!!



RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • size A2 card with white embossed cardstock for the background
  • Mo's Digital Pencil Baby Boy Bald was lightly colored using Whisper Stroke Markers and chalk puff-dotted on background
  • background was embossed and chalked
  • Darice beads spell out Dylan's name
  • "on your baptism" was hand written on a Darice Embossing die cut and chalked around the edges 
  • sentiment is  was cut using a Darice Embossing Die Cut chalked around the edges with hand-colored baptismal shell

Mom - Thank You with a New Challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper

It's a new month which means a new challenge with Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge where it's always anything goes as long as you use a patterned paper!!!
