I Knew When I Met You An Adventure Was Going To Happen

Some of you may know how much I absolutely love love love Winnie the Pooh - did you know that I even have a bathing suit that I wear to water aerobics with him on AND he's also emblazed with ink on my upper right thigh!!!!! WELL, guess that was too much information for this time of the day!

Did you know that January 18th was Winnie the Pooh Day?? I know I'm late in celebrating but then again, it's never too late to celebrate the wisdom of the Pooh Bear:

Recipe:
  • card is an A2 card cut using turquoise Recollection cardstock with background using Recollections Home Basics
  • Pooh Bear was cut using Cricut Disney Pooh and Friends Cartridge at 4-inches which qualifies for layering it up being paper piecing with To the Left of Center Challenge
  • subway art was a freebie from Create with TLC which was chalked around the edges
  • buttons are from Studio G and are actually embellishments with glue dots on the back
Happy Belated Winnie the Pooh Day and it has been an adventure since I started my blog and I thank you for helping and encouraging me to continue!

It's January and its that time of the year to . . . .

When Create with TLC had this inspiration for "January", I had a project in mind that I knew I just had to do!!!! First off, I love to combine using Create with TLC inspirations along with adding items cut using my Cricut. Second is that I absolutely love love love Winnie the Pooh who has been immortalized on my upper thigh. Now, he's been there for years floating upwards with his balloons but has gone unnoticed UNLESS . . . . well, you get the idea. Now, with this being said, Lily is in the process of being "house-broken" or potty trained and insists on following you into the bathroom. She saw the Pooh Bear on my upper thigh and asked if her mother knew what I had done and proceeds to get wipes trying to wipe it off my leg because as she says, "You're not supposed to write on yourself with markers!!"

With all that being said, I just have to share my card . . .

RECIPE:
  • card was cut 6 x 12, creased with Martha Stewart Score Board using www.coredinations Foundations Grand Canal Card Stock
  • background is from Create with TLC Christmas Club for 2013 and was cut 5 x 5 inches
  • subway art was a recent freebie from Create with TLC
  • Winnie the Pooh was cut 2.25 inches using Cricut Disney Winnie the Pooh and Friends Cartridge and puff-dotted on my card for dimension
  • snowflakes were cut using a hole punch
  • shovel is from my button stash
  • ribbon is Celebrate it Holiday from Michael's (don't you just love when all the colors coordinate especially when they are sew odd!!)
  • all edges were all chalked
God Bless and thanks for stopping by today. I appreciate and love reading your comments . . is your comment the next one I read???
