Happy Halloween Adam!!!

TRICK OR TREAT!!!! Happy Halloween!!!! What are your plans for trick or treating? Any interesting traditions?

When I first saw this image from Create with TLC, I knew it would be purrfect for Adam!!!

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • purple Recollection card stock was used for a 4.5 x 4.5 inch card - let me tell you a little story about this - I had cut this originally and it was the wrong size and then I folded it wrong - wait until you see how I fixed it and made it all better (lol!)
  • background is K&Co Halloween Tim Coffey
  • Create with TLC Celebrate Halloween Bear Word Art Transfer was given rounded corners and chalked around the edges as it is pre-colored - how easy peasy is that?
  • inside sentiment, "Official Candy Taster",  is part of Create with TLC of set called Join Me For a Bite Vintage Image Transfer and Word Art Set which originally had been part of Paulette's October Club which was mounted onto scraps from the front after it had been chalked around the edges - now for my little secret, see that adorable ribbon Darice Halloween Fun which is from my stash and I'm not sure how old this ribbon is - WELL, if you look closely I had wrapped it around where the previous fold was and to the front along with ribbons on the sentiment but remember MUM's the word - LOL!

Adam is a good eater and loves to eat more than Lily and is almost weighs the same!!! Keep this in mind, Adam just turned 1 and Lily is 3!!!

Happy Halloween Lily!!!!

Angie's Digi Stamps had offered a freebie on her blog called Daisy Mae Pumpkin Carving and I just knew that I had to use this to make a card for Lily! She's all into Halloween this year and can't wait to go Trick or Treating.

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

  • dark green Recollection card stock was used for my size A2 card
  • background is K&Co Halloween Tim Coffey - loved all the smiling Jack-O-Lantern faces and thought it was purrfect for this card!!!
  • Daisy Mae whose name has been changed to Lily (shhh don't tell Angie) was colored using Spectrum Noir Markers, Whisper Stroke Brush Strokes with gel pen accents
  • stickers are oldies but goodies that I had in my sticker box and I loved them as they are 3-dimensional along with being somewhat shiny
  • baker's orange/white twine was wrapped around the front of the card with a large button from my stash hot glued on top
  • sentiment, "When black cats prowl and ghosts turn green May trick or treating be good on Halloween", is a Create with TLC called Beware Halloween Vintage Image Transfer and Word Art Set which originally had been part of Paulette's October Club which was mounted onto scraps for a faux quilted effect after it had been chalked around the edges

Create with TLC Progressive Challenge #8 - The Mad Hatter Vintage

Create with TLC had this phenomenal Progressive Challenge which was to kick-off World Card Making Day. She offered the first image if you request by email and upon completion, send finished project to her and she sends you the next installment and sew forth until you had a chance to collect a total of 12 free digital images!!!

I created one of my new favorite things to create, a Post-it Note Holder for image #8 with one of my very most characters from Alice in Wonderland - the Mad Hatter:

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • Recollection turquoise Card Stock is the background of my Post-it Note Holder cut 7.375 x 3.25 inches and scored at 3-1/8, 3-1/2, 3-7/8 inches with the 3-1/8 inch being your front
  • fold in half and make 2 snips approximately 1-inch from either side to hold optional pen
  • background is my fabulous scrap drawer
  • Create with TLC  8 The Mad Hatter Vintage was colored using Spectrum Noir Markers, Prisma Colored Pencils, and gel pens, chalked around the edges - I always felt the Mad Hatter was a flamboyant dresser!!
  • Silver Tone Tea Bag Charm is from Miriam's Crafting supplies which was added to my pen with a jump ring - pens were purchased with a key ring on the top to add a charm and this was a purrfect spot of tea!
