I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose July 3, 2012

Happy Tuesday my friends - I'm sew glad you came to see my I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose for July 3, 2012 which I used a God Bless America Theme to start celebrating the 4th of July, early.

This is what I did with Sketch #9 for July 3, 2012:

My scrap bin is a wonderful way to start when making a card. This sketch was the purrfect way to celebrate the 4th with using Lacey Label Cricut Cartridge cutting out the "Soar" at 2.25-inches with the eagle soaring! How purrfect is that??? I have star bling that I added on my "flags" on the upper right corner outlining my red-stripe ribbon. A touch of a thin white cluny lace and 3 pearls in the bottom right corner adds the finishing touches to my card. God Bless America!

I encourage you all to visit and check out her sketches by joining her challenge by visiting her Facebook group! You can also visit her on I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose by becoming a follower.

Please make sure you check out my Design Team sisters' cards as well and see how they meet Daisy's Sketch Challenge!.  I know you won't be disappointed.!

This is what I did with Sketch #16 for July 2, 2012:

What a fun, great card and ready for this - it is all made from papers from a scrap swap!!! I love scrap swaps! I knew this paper held a special purpose and viola. The fairy charm was found along with the buttons in my button stash. I added a few peach pearls on the one corner to complete.

Her Craft Kre8tions Blowing in the Wind Design Team Project

Good morning my friends!!!! Today, is Her Craft Kre8tions Design Team craft challenge!!!!

Yes, how many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea ?
Yes, how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free ?
Yes, how many times can a man turn his head
Pretending he just doesn't see ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Today's craft challenge for Her Craft Krea8tions was to make something that "blows in the wind". Each design team member received beads, chimes, nightmare fishing line, a jingle bell, and a twirly thingie dooie (that's a technical term!). Everyone was encouraged to add things from their stash to make it their own and to go "green" without buying anything additional!!!!

With this all being said, everyone and the fishing line were not on "speaking terms". Lynne Kirsh had knots galore and would give up and pitch it and her one cat would return it expecting her either to throw again or finish ... your guess is as good as her's! Several never ever want to see fishing line again!!!!! Thus, the grand prize will be 100 yards of fishing line .... ha ha, just kidding!!!! It will be a surprise package to one lucky recipient that remarks on everyone's stop along the way!

If you arrived from my dear crafty talented friend, Edwina you are in the right place and not blown away by the wind or the noise!

My blowin’ in the wind project is truly a work of being crafty and "green". The plastic ring at the top is from an old curtain, the other white plastic ring is from an old tape dispenser, bells are from a cat collar, beads are from a broken bracelet. Its not the prettiest thing you might see, but it sounds pretty if that counts!!! LOL!

It was not the most cooperative item as it wouldn't sit still to take its picture let along smile!!! What can I say???

The line-up is as follows:

Your next stop along the windy trail is Janet and let's hear her story of trial and tribulation of the infamous fishing line!

We thank you for stopping by today and checking out this one super creative group of ladies!!!! Next month, please stop by again as the theme will be "reading, ritin' and ritmatic" which will be August 3rd.

God Bless and thank you for stopping by
