Bob and I on Sunday's usually take a ride - sometimes with an agenda and other times, just see where the road and day takes us thus Gerda Steiner Designs, Dog on Scooter, on a background of a road map became the purrfect vehicle for my Design Team Project!

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• background is a copy of a road map
• Dog on Scooter was colored using Whisper Strokes Markers and Prisma Colored Pencils and fussy cut around the edges
• Darice Glossy Accents for on the front and rear lights
• sentiments, "I knew when I met you an adventure was going to happen . . . Winnie the Pooh", "I took the road less traveled . . . now where in the heck am I???", and "True friendship takes us by the hand and reminds us that we are not alone in the journey" had all been previous freebies from Create with TLC chalked around the edges
• my "doodles" are the marks around the scooter to give illusion of movement along with white accents on helmet, tires, and scooter

FISHING: It's all about the Stories with a new challenge at Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Blog

This week at Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge Blog our wonderful sponsor is Deedee's Digi's!!!! Of course it's always Anything Goes but this week with an optional twist - MALE!!!!

My wonderful man, Bob, loves to fish and only last year, I would go with him. Thus when I saw the image from Create with TLC, Not About the Fishing, I knew this was the purrfect card for him to give him on Father's Day!!!

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• Recollection aqua card stock for size A2 card with scraps for the background 
• wrapped some twine and attached with a button
• image was colored with Prisma Colored Pencils and Prisma Marker with chalking around the image
• "Fish tremble at the sound of your name" had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC was chalked around the edges and mounted on scrap paper and set at a jaunty angle

Just Because Card with a New Challenge at Crafty Gals Corner

I know when we go to the cabin in Pymatuning, I love to look at all the bird feeders in the rural area along with birds sitting on the fences as though they don't have a care in the world while they are surveying the area!!! The image that I chose to use for this week's challenge is Bird on a Wire which is softly colored with chalks.

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• yellow Recollection card stock for size A2 card and scrap paper for background
• Bird on a Wire was colored using  chalks with gel pen and Stickles accents 
• border was cut using Martha Stewart Vine Border Punch
• ribbon is Sew Trendy 
• black Queen & Co. pearl for the bird's eye
• sentiment, "Just Because" had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC chalked around the edges with scraps for the background and yellow was cut using Martha Stewart Eyelet Border Punch 

I made this card for a very special lady who is ever sew talented - it is for Paulette at Create with TLC whom I have had the honor and pleasure of being on her Design Team. A little birdie had told me that she loves the colors yellow or blue - oh yes, there will be a little surprise in the card and envelope also for Paulette with the fabulous Cross Charm from Miriam's Crafting Supplies:
