Hello Birthday Girl with April Scrapbook Blessings Club Challenge

It's a new month which means a new  challenge at the Scrapbook Blessings Club!!!!! This month, the challenge is being sponsored by Crafting Desert Divas

 

with the color pallet of pink, white, and green. 

I chose to use a Create with TLC current free image as a birthday card: 

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• ivory Recollection cardstock per instructions at Score-Pal to make my "Z" Fold card 
• accent paper is from my scraps
• Hello Birthday Girl is pre-colored with Stickles accents, rounded chalked corners mounted on ivory Recollection cardstock
• sentiment, "Happy Birthday to you" had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC was chalked around the edges
• Martha Stewart Eyelet Border punch using ivory Recollection cardstock  
• butterfly and flower are from K&Co Susan Winget

OK, I know the colors are not exactly to the pallet but it does have a green, peachy pink and white and ivory . . . .

Happy 10th Birthday Zack - Lego A Good Time!!!

It's hard to believe that Zack is now 10 years old!!!! I've known him for almost all of his life and he's such a creative boy!!! He loves to build with Lego's where he builds houses and creates a story to go with his house! Thus, when looking through Pinterest, I found a great idea for his card this year - Lego Man and thus the inspiration began with a little help from Make the Cut:

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• black Recollection cardstock is the base of my card with scraps of cardstock for the body parts
• sentiment has been a previous freebie from Create with TLC, "Ice Cream We Scream Happy Birthday" was chalked around the edges with cutting to fit inside the card 
  
• then came the challenge - envelopes and I have issues and with this card, there was no exception thus it became an sleeve to hold his card and gift card - I saw  you laughing at my poor envelope but the language this envelope learned in the process was not pretty!!!!

for my project I had the privilege of using Melonheadz Father's Day Bundle with a "fishing" theme going on:

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• My "Create Your Own Challenge is a size A2 card using a Christmas Recollection cardstock, Father's Day, and blue burlap sewn on the left side of card after fringing with burlap from Miriam's Crafting Supplies
• fisherman and fish were colored using Prisma Colored Pencils, Prisma Markers with gel pen accents, fussy cut around the ages 
• tear drop rhinestones for droplets of water
• inside sentiments, "children are a father's greatest catch" and "I love you!" were chalked around the edges, mounted on some scrap paper and Martha Stewart Vine Border Punch are also part of the Father's Day Bundle 

I was busy decorating both the left and right inside of my card!!
