RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• journal page using a peacock feather page found from a stack I had purchased at Walmart some time ago
• Peacock Profile and was colored with Prisma Colored Pencils with Stickles and gel pen accents
• sentiments had been previous freebies from Create with TLC were chalked around the edges along with words that I had written as a reminder to take care of myself
• Bronze Metal Peacock Embellishment is from Miriam's Crafting Supplies

Welcome to Crafty Gals Corner's challenge this week with the theme being Summer Fun with the fabulous sponsor being Eureka Stamps with the winner getting to pick 3 fabulous digital images!!!

What's better then laying back and being a "cool cat" with a refreshing glass of lemonade??? The image that I chose to use for this week's challenge is Lemonade Cat

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• yellow Recollection card stock for size A2 card and scrap paper for background
• Lemonade Cat was colored using  Prisma Colored Pencils with gel pen and Stickles accents - I colored him more like a cartoon kitty that you could possible see in the Sunday Funnies
• sentiment, "goofing off is good for the soul" had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC chalked around the edges 

• used Darice Glossy Accents for the lemonade glass as I wanted it to look refreshing 

• border tulips were made using EK Flower Border Punch with chalking on scrap white cardstock

May Love and Laughter Be Yours Forever After Wedding Card

My dear friend Gayle's cousin recently got married and asked me to create a special card for him and his bride - did I mention her cousin is 70 years old????

The image and sentiment are from Create with TLC Wedding Love Birds Vintage Image and Word Art Set which was the purrrfect image and sentiment to use:

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• lilac Recollection cardstock is the base of size A2 card with DCWV Linen and Lace as my background
• Darice Oval Frame was cut using Cuttlebug framing the newlyweds
• image is pre-colored chalked around the edges 
• flowers are from Recollections
• ribbon is Darice Satin Edged Organz
• swan charm was a wonderful gift from my friend Vicky
• sentiment, "May love and laughter be yours forever after" is also from Create with TLC Wedding Love Birds Vintage Image and Word Art Set which was chalked around the edges and mounted on another piece of DCWV Linen and Lace 

I love this image and the sentiments included in this set and am sure I will be using this a lot more as I love the Vintage look.
