Hello Beautiful Glorious Fall!!!!!

Hello Beautiful Glorious Fall!!!!! This is a beautiful freebie from Create with TLC which makes a super quick easy card and who could ask for more??? I'm entering this card in the Cosmic Strawberry Colours Challenge #6 and chose Color Palette #1 




RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • Recollection rust cardstock cut to size A2 card
  • background was from my scrap drawer and chalked around the edges with that beautiful fall leaves
  • image is pre-colored and just needs chalked around the edges!!!! easy peasy!!!!
  • Create with TLC "Autumn a distinct smell . . . a mixture of dried leaves on the ground, smoke from the chimneys, and sweet ripe apples." sentiment was chalked around the edges and mounted on the same cute nut paper from the front to coordinate offset at a jaunty angle with the bottom cut like a banner
  • ribbon is Darice orange double-faced satin edged 1/4-inch wide on the side
  • Acyrlic Fall Leaf gems were added on the front to finish my card
I just love love love this time of the year - the crunch of the leaves while taking a walk, the smell of pumpkin and apple pies baking, the beautiful colors that paints nature - who could ask for more?

Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge #49 - Anything Goes with a twist of Get Well!!!

This week at Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge Blog our wonderful sponsor is Stitchy Bear. Of course it's Anything Goes but this week with a twist - Get Well!!!!! 

For my Design Team project, I chose Butterfly Get Well Frame which was made into an easel card following the instruction on Splitcoasters . . . .




RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • aqua Recollection card stock cut 4.25 x 8.5 and scored at 4.25 and 6.375 inches
  • background is K&Co Susan Winget cut to 4.25 inches
  • Butterfly Get Well Frame was colored with Prisma Markers, Whisper Strokes with gel pen accents, fussy cut around the edges and chalked around the  edges
  • sentiment, "Don't waste your sick days, actually being sick . . . GET WELL SOON", had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC which has rounded corners and chalked around the edges 
  • pearls are from Queen and Co with three (3) on the upper corner of my card and and an additional three (3) on the sentiment to hold the easel card upright
  • an additional butterfly which coordinated with the K&Co Susan Winget paper

Create with TLC Progressive Challenge #2 -

Create with TLC has this phenomenal Progressive Challenge currently going on to kick-off World Card Making Day. She offers the first image if you request by email and upon completion, send finished project to her and she sends you the next installment!!! How wonderful is that??? AND, did I mention that you have an opportunity to get 12 FREE digital images??????? HMMMM, have you started yet????? WELL, here's image #2 - Fresh Brewed For You Vintage as my card and yes, of course - complete with buttons!!!





RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • Recollection brown Card Stock is the background of my card which is a size A2
  • yellow gingham background is from my scrap drawers and chalked around the edges
  • Create with TLC 2 Fresh Brewed For You Vintage was colored using Spectrum Noir Markers, Prisma Markers, and gel pens and then chalked around the edges
  • coffee pot was cut using Cricut From My Kitchen Cartridge with scraps
  • red buttons are from my marvelous stash 
  • Darice Glossy Accents was added to the inside of the cup to make it look like a liquid 
  • sentiment, "Rise and Shine", was chalked around the edges and mounted on some more of the scrap yellow gingham and had been a previous freebie image from Create with TLC
