Merry Christmas Snowman

I'm sew excited - I was asked to be the Guest Designer this month at My Whimsical Little World and I get to share with you 4 new releases with this being the first of the 4th, the second one on Saturday, and the 3rd this coming Monday!!!!! The Merry Christmas with an adorable little snowman and his little girl friend. I'm thrilled to be this month's Guest Designer and share my creations with you:

Recipe:

• DCWV The Winter Stack Combo which has not only cards but envelopes and makes for super quick cards to make and send for Christmas
• Merry Christmas was colored with Whisper Strokes, Prisma Markers and gel pen accents with scraps of snowflake paper for the background and chalked around the edges
• snowflakes and winter tree are stickers which I found at Pat Catan's for 4/$1.00
• Stickles was added to the Snowman, the fur on the girl's coat, and the "snow" on the bottom of the card

I loved this adorable image by Lacy Sunshine, Melanie Boo and the Christmas Star which reminds me of my precious granddaughter, Lily . . . 

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• DCWV Winter Stack Card set complete with cards and envelopes was used for my card base
• background is Martha Stewart Winter 
• Melanie Boo was colored with Copic Markers, Prisma Colored Pencils with gel pen accents and chalked around the edges with rounded corners
• Stickles was added for the fur on her coat and boots
• Darice Gel Holly was added to bow made with Holiday Inspirations and 3 Queen & Co. red pearls
• sentiment, "Peace on earth, and best wishes throughout the holidays" which had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC was mounted additional snowflake paper

Get Creative Challenge #3 - Christmas Theme

Welcome to our 3rd challenge at Get Creative Challenge!!!!! This is a Challenge Blog with this week's project - Christmas theme!!!!

We have a fabulous sponsor with The Stamping Boutique for this challenge and I got to play with Happy Happy Snowman! Doesn't it just make you smile and actually enjoy the snow, even if just for a moment?

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• size A2 card using DCWV Winter Collection cards and envelopes - how easy is that to make you cards, just decorate!!!
• scraps for background and inside of my card were from my stash and chalked around the edges
• Happy Happy Snowman was colored with Whisper Stroke Markers and Spectrum Noir Markers with gel accents
• Stickles was used to add some glitz for the snow on the front of my card
• heart rhinestones, silver rhinestones, and buttons are all from my stash
• sentiment, "it's a Marshmallow world in the winter" had been previous freebies from  Create with TLC  which was chalked around the edges
