    Chocolate Blog Hop

    Busy day on Her Craftiness:

If you're here for Color Me Orange or Yellow Blog Hop, click here please, or just take a few to check out these projects as everyone knows "chocolate is a girl's best friend!"

If you're here to check out Lisa Peters as my Guest Designer today to see if she was able to meet the theme and challenge, click here!

Next to diamonds, chocolate is a girl's best friend and in some cases it may even rank higher than diamonds. This hop takes some neat approaches to chocolate so I hope you can take the time to hop through and see how these crafters expressed their love of chocolate.

You will start at Lorby's World (http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com) but make sure you make it all the way to the end because Tee at One Scrap at a Time is giving away two files from The Cutting Cafe (http://thecuttingcafe.typepad.com/the_cutting_cafe/) to one lucky winner. Tee will have all the details on how to sign up for the drawing when you arrive at her blog.

So get your box of hidden chocolate and enjoy the hop...

For my project, it is a title for a lay-out from Little Scraps of Heaven past freebie Chocoholic. My background paper is from DCWV The Sweet Stack

Thank you for coming today and now on to Cicily to take care of some more of your chocolate fix . . .

In case, you get lost along the way, here is the "official" line-up!

Color Me Yellow or Orange Blog Hop

Busy busy busy day on Her Craftiness -

If you're here to check out Lisa Peter's Guest Designer Post for today, please, click here.

Color me Yellow or Orange - Its pumpkins and sunflowers time!!! What a great representation of fall. The Design Team's challenge this month was to choose a color - orange or yellow??? With that being said, they had no idea why they were even being asked what color had to do with their project ... hee hee!!! They then each got a file to think outside of the box with the color. HMMMM, guess its time for the reveal, huh???

Our wonderful Design Team for this hop consists of:

For my project, I decided to make either a little album or book for Lily. I'm not done as not all of my supplies have been moved to where I am now living - its a work in progress sew to speak!

    RECIPE:
    • Pumpkin Patchwork Album by My Scrap Chick cut at 5-inches with two (2) holes added to be used with binder rings
    • Various orange papers using DCWV The Harvest Gathering Stack and DCWV Flower Spring Stack
    • Distress ink around the edges
    • Green is from my marvelous scrap stash
    • Now, envision this - buttons from my button stash, binder rings with ribbons and there will be pages between the three (3) layer pumpkins with a solid pumpkin for either pictures or a little story or poem - to be continued!!!

Your next stop along the way is our very talented and lovely Miss Kimberly (aka Princess Sparkles) to see her awesome creativeness!!!

I hope you enjoyed our little hop for this month. With feature attractions, The Design Team will be asked to do a project with the "theme" "Come Sit a Spell" for October 16, 2012. So, with that being said, mark your calendars and plan to "sit a spell" to see how we think outside of the chair for next month.
