For the hop today, my project is a cut from Creative Kuts, titled Friends are the Best Present and cut the wreath at 6-inches. What makes her designs wonderful, she uses a dot that you can measure all parts to be sure the pieces are all fit! The paper for my wreath is The Ballet Paper Stack.
I used puff tape between the layers. I have 2 layers of cereal boxes and then the paper. Between the 2 layers is a frosted transparent paper and the "shaker" is hearts because Christmas is about "love"
My bow also has puff dots to make the bow look fluffy and add dimension. Dimension is also added to the ornaments on the wreath with Gloss Accents.
I punched holes in the top and added a binder ring along with ribbons that coordinated with my paper. Two of the ribbons, I had received from Deborah Foti from a RAK ribbon exchange and were purrrfect for this project.
When you lift the top of my wreath you can still see the hearts behind the frosted paper.
The other side has Raggedy Ann and Andy in their Christmas finery. What good outfit doesn't include a plaid with a dressy collar and cuff!. Papers were from my scrap bin. The holly on their hats are gems that I had in my stash also and added 3 dots for the berries on each hat with Stickles. Their faces were drawn on with Gel Pens and Markers.
Now, the back of my "card" was feeling a bit lonely and just demanded some decoration also. I cut the words "Merry Christmas" using the Christmas Cheer Cricut Cartridge cutting at 2.25-inches.
I hope you enjoyed my shaker card and thank you again for checking out my project... Now follow the links below and remember to visit all the stops for MAXIMUM ideas and LOTS OF FUN!!
