Oh No Not Another Learning Experience with a New Challenge at Scrap N Dipity

I'm one of the newest designers for Scrap N Dipity Challenge Blog where the challenge for this month is "Back to School" I'm sharing with you my card using Lil Chickie Reader:

. . . but first an interesting story - the above picture was taken with my cell phone showing my friend Kimberly as we create together via FaceTime. As you see, I used Darice Glossy Accents on Lil Chickie's glasses and went downstairs to make dinner while the Glossy Accents dried. In case you weren't aware, I have 4 cats, Patches is 16 years old, Chloe is 3 years old, Sadie is 2 years old, and Tinsel (aka Stinkers) is 10 months old and is very mischievous thus her nickname . . . well, when I came back upstairs to scan my card Tinsel was licking her paws and there was fur sticking to my card and viola with Tinsel helping to create this is version 2 of my card which makes the sentiment oh sew purrfect!!!!

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • 5x7 inch card with adorable math paper for the background
  • image was colored using Spectrum Noir and Whisper Stroke Markers with gel pen and Darice Glossy accents
  • apple ribbon from a swap
  • feather from my stash
  • sentiments are from Create with TLC cut using Darice Embossing Die Cut and chalked around the edges

As a special offering, she is offering you a 25 percent coupon to use when you make a purchase!!! The coupon code is lynnesndsep

I can't wait to see your cards and I'm only hoping that you have better luck than I did!

I appreciate and love reading your comments - and hoping you leave me some bloggie love.

Much love, hugs, and friendship

  1. Lynne, I have two cats since my oldest a male, passed away recently. When I read your post...I started laughing out loud I hate to say. Now my male was the naughty one, but since he is no longer with us, my younger female has stepped up to fill in. When she was younger she would steal socks and she is back at it and it is driving me nuts because my kids no longer live at home and I'm too old to crawl under the bed to find them, hehe. Your card is gorgeous. Love the non-fur version better, hehe.
