Shannon's Bio: I have been scrap booking for about 12 years now and loving every minute of it. I recently took up photography to grow my scrap booking which is also why I started this blog. I want to share my ideas and get ideas from fellow scrap bookers just like me! I am happily married and mainly scrap my husband, our life together, and our friends.
and now to share her project with you . . .
11 years ago today we found each other.
5 years ago today we started a life together.
To celebrate my anniversary I chose an old layout from our wedding album.

And today, I am still nuts about you!
I am so blessed this week for many reasons. I have a loving husband, great friends, and a second opportunity to be a guest designer! I would like to take the time to thank Lynne from Her Craftiness for allowing me to show my work on her blog.
This is my favorite page out of the entire album. I saw a similar page in a Close To My Heart catalog and loved it. I tweaked it a little to make it my own. I love the black and white photo with the bright green and pink. I used my Close To My Heart ink and Stamps and a Cricut Cartridge to create this layout. You will have to forgive me, it's been a long time and I don't remember all the details :)

However, my second project is new just today so I remember everything!!
This is the anniversary card that I made for my husband. In my crafting circle I am kind of known for being untraditional when it comes to my paper choices. I tend to mix designs and colors that must people would not. I can't help it, it's who I am! The paper I choose for this card is from the Recollections All Season paper pack.
For my cute little squirrel I used my new favorite Cricut cartridge Create A Critter.
added some bling and I used my white pen to make my word pop. I really love the way this card turned out and I hope you do too!
Now for the fun part! BLOG CANDY!!
Today I am giving away some Recollections bling and embellishments.
To be eligible to win please check out my blog my-o-scrappin, become a follower and leave a comment on this post. If you are already a follower that's ok, you also have a chance to win! Again I want to thank Lynne @ Her Craftiness for giving me this opportunity.
