Welcome back for Part II of Two for Tuesday -
Crazy for Cricut is having a bookmark challenge and I'm in "challenge" mode. "Summer reading. Make a bookmark to show how you save your place in your favorite family book!" were the recipe to follow. With this wealth of knowledge, I remember reading to my daughter when she was younger - ok, she's 31 now and mother of my adorable 5-month old granddaughter, Lily, but I can still remember reading to her "Good Night Moon". After finishing reading the book, she would then get out of bed and tell everything in her room good night. Wonderful fond memories. Being armed with this, I made a bookmark to give to Lily for her mom to read this book to her also as family tradition.
Recipe for Bookmark:
Tag cut with George Cartridge cut at 5 inches with black sparkly paper
Moon (cut at 2.75 inches) and Star (cut at 1.75 inches) cut with Create a Critter and scrap paper
Moon and Star attached with puff dots
Purple and Aqua ribbon attached
Used White Gel pain to write the words from one of the pages
Happy reading!
Don't forget to add Goodnight Moon to your child/grandchild's reading list!
God Bless
Hugs and Love,
Lynne
