January 9, 2012 Boy Oh Boy Blog Hop

"What are little boys made of?
Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails
That's what little boys are made of!"

This fun blog hop is to showcase all things Boy. Come join us as we display creations that show each person's interpretation of Boy Oh Boy!

Your hostess for this hop is Jearise at http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com and she is so happy to have you as part of this hop.
She'll pick one lucky person to receive a $10 gift card to Joann's Fabric and Craft. You must do two things to be eligible:

  1. Take the time to hop through all the blogs and then let her know that they have done so
  2. Become a follower of LORBY'S WORLD.
We have a very special sponsor on this hop: PSA Stamps (www.psaessentials.com) please also check out their blog (www.psastampcamp.blogspot.com). These stamps are awesome... They are peel and stick stamps that work perfectly on cards and envelopes or any project that is in need of a cute stamp.

PSA Stamps is also giving away 1 stamper and 2 peel and stick packs of the winner's choice. MRSP is $55. Libby O will have directions on how to become qualified for the stamps on her blog so make sure you hop through all the blogs and land on hers at the end. You wouldn't want to miss a marvelous opportunity to win these stamps.

So if you have discovered this hop by chance, please start with Lorby's World  and continue through our list of blogs, but if you've come from Katie then you're on the right track. Yay!

For my project today for Jearise's son is 2 projects. First off I made a card using my Robotz Cricut cartridge along with Generation Tech Stack which is great cardstock not only for the robot but computer games or techie things! This is the first robot in the cartridge and was cut at 2.75-inches using the green from the same stack for the background with sentiment using my E2 Essentials.

I love to show the inside of my cards also -

Now, for my second project, it is also cut for my Robotz Cricut cartridge using the same paper stack. Now, I know, I complain about 3-dimensional projects, but I have this uncanny knack to continually make them. This is the second to last Robotz in the cartrdge that is 3-dimensional cut at 10.50 inches. I used some bling, even boys can use some bling, here and there for the gears on the robot. I also colored a skewer black and added some foam wheels.

Isn't he adorable!!!! Love that cheesy grin!

Thank you for joining us today and now you can skip a dee doo dah day on over to Lisa to see what wonderful project she has made for today!

Again, thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed my "boy" robot projects which will be sent out in the mail for Jearise's son!!!

God Bless
Hugs, love and pixie dust!
Lynne

  17. Liam story. Liam came to me crying this evening because his sister had ripped his birthday sticker he got from school today. He was wearing it and she grabbed his shirt and it ripped. He was devastated! I sat him on my lap and told him I had a very special birthday surprise from a very special blog hop friend and then I showed him what you had made. The tears went away and a smile came to his face. : )
