Very blessed grandma today as 2 of my grandchildren are being baptized, Lily and Adam. It's quite difficult to find a card let alone make a card for an older child to be baptized as compared to a newborn but using Tilda with Cross and a Precious Moments coloring book page made the purrfect cards:
Lily's using Tilda with Cross:
Adam's using Precious Moments Coloring Book Page:
RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
- both cards Recollections card stock size A2 card with DCWV The Chateau Lavender Matstack for Lily's and Glad Tidings for Adam
- images were colored and fussy cut around the edges using Prisma and Whisper Strokes Markers along with Prisma Colored Pencils with but of course a touch of Stickles and gel pen accents
- Adam's name is spelled using colored beads and hand-wrote "Jesus Loves Me . . ."
- Lily's is placed on a Darice Die Cut and has flowers made with Fiskars Flower Burst Punch with Miriam's Crafting Supplies pearl centers along with a White Recollections Flower and butterfly from K&Co
- sentiments were found on the internet, "Loving prayers for a blessed granddaughter/grandson on your baptism. May God's love be with you and guide you throughout your life." with a baptismal shell which was colored with Prisma Colored pencils on coordinating papers with Darice Die Cuts:
I appreciate and love reading your comments - and hoping you leave me some bloggie love.
Much love, hugs, and friendship
Lynne
