All About Pets Blog Hop

Welcome to the "All About Pets" Blog Hop!!
We're so happy you could join us for this super-fun hop showcasing cards, layouts and projects that feature everything fun about our wonderful furry (and not-so-furry) friends!!  You'll find an array of ideas throughout the hop -- We hope you'll enjoy each and every project along the way!!

Well, things got a bit crazy and somehow through Links my post was lost but I would still like to share my project for you.....

For the hop today, I've created a layout with one of my beautiful kitties, Patches. Patches is a Maine Coon and was purchased for me when my daughter graduated from Duquesne University to keep me company as she had planned on moving out and she didn't want the old lady to get lonely! Ok, the old lady she was referring to is me!!!

For this layout I used My Memories Suite and did my very first digital layout. There are various pictures of Patches from baby to now. With her coloring, she almost looks like Groucho Marx! She is a beautiful kitty and very affectionate. I just need to do 2 more kitty layouts now for my other kitties that they don't get jealous! Hope you enjoy my layout!

I have blog candy for two lucky winners. All you need to do is post a comment along with how I can get in touch with you and your preference of Dog or Cat. Sew simple, huh? I have chipboard stickers for the lucky winners!

Thank you again for checking out my project...

Thank you for stopping by
God bless

Congrats to Kristin ---

I have another My Memory Suite project for you which was sew easy to create. Kristin got her acceptance letter yesterday for Pitt Johnstown!!!! YIPPEE!!! My sister, Beth, had Kristin's picture with acceptance letter posted on facebook which I snatched (snatched is such an ugly word, would rather use the word borrowed instead!) and created within 20 minutes!

The pictures and logo's of Pitt Johnstown were copied from their website. One of my favorite paper packs which I had used on the previous layouts with Kristin is Mothers and Daughters 2! I used the solid gingham which comes already installed for the ribbons. The "Pitt Johnstown Here I Come" is text art. The brads were from Mothers and Daughters 2 along with the background paper. The bead spill is an embellishment from All About Funk which I added 2 of these. I do see I have to play with the ivory gingham ribbon though to extend on the one side --- as Scarlett would say - "Tomorrow's another Day" to which Rhett would reply ..... oh well, you get my drift. <grin>

I still love the old-fashioned form of scrapbooking and love my Cricut but this gives me another great option for scapbooking albums that are quick and easy as I said 20 minutes and part of that was doing the Pitt Johnstown search!!!! I never thought I would like this let alone learn how to do but success is mine!

Congrats Kristin - I'm sew proud of you! Hugs and Love!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you liked my project along with getting some inspiration!!!!!

God Bless
Hugs and Love,
Lynne

Lucky Me Gets to Be a Guest Designer for a Dear Friend

I'm sew lucky that I get to be a Guest Designer this week for sew many of my friends!!! Today, I'm the Guest Designer for my beautiful friend Susan. Please be sure to stop by and give her some bloggie love and take a few minutes to check out her incredible designs!!!!

For my project today I am using My Memory Suite and pictures of my lovely niece, Kristin as my muse using her Homecoming Pictures. Kristin is a Senior this year! Kristin always had a picture taken with my parents with her dances but unfortunately my parents passed this year. This year, Kristin stood in front of my parent's wedding picture which is the 2nd picture in my album. It's not the same thing but we know they were there! That's why I used the phrase "I will always be there for you".

Wait until you see more pictures of the album as I work on it with her Senior Pictures!!!! Just beautiful is all I have to say!!!!

I'm only a novice here using the program and hopefully you will enjoy my project for today!!! Thank you Susan for giving me this opportunity and helping me with My Memory Suite!!

God Bless

This is one of my first projects with My Memories Suite. This is a wonderful way to do layouts. The layout is of my granddaughter and her dad at a local farm. Lily was having sew much fun with the pumpkins. I added the black brads, the swirl in the corner as it reminded me of the viney things on pumpkins and those cute little black and white dot bows on the pictures. Hope you enjoy my projects:

The other layout is of my 6-year old granddaughter, Sasha also at Trax Farms.

If you have traveled from Gill's, then you are on the right digital highway and will continue over to Lynda's. If you got lost and found yourself on my doorstep by mistake, you can head to the beginning of the digital highway here: Jearise's blog.
