  • Stickles were added to her fairy wings
  • ribbon was a Valentine ribbon from JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts and tied into a bow
  • sentiments, "You're cute as a BUTTON SEW let's be Valentines", is Create with TLC Sew Let's Be Valentines and "XOXOX" had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC  and are chalked around the edges and mounted on scrap from the front

Super cute and easy card with just an adorable image!!! Hoping you like Sasha's Valentine also!!!

Sew Let's Be Valentines

One of my favorite Create with TLC digital sets is "Sew Let's Be Valentines Digital Set!" What's not to like about this set - it has spools of thread and a sentiment that is "sew" me!!!!! I made this card for a special friend for Valentine's Day . . . . ok, I know she will be getting it late but the heart-felt sentiment is still there!!! This card has love, a wobble, and BUTTONS!!!! What's not to love???

RECIPE:
  • card was cut with Cricut Wild Card Cartridge using Recollection Valentine paper which was a gift from Sasha
  • background paper for the spools and heart is from Doodlebug Designs Sweet Cake
  • digi was colored using Spectrum Noir and gel pens, fussy cut around the edges and used a Wobble to make the thread and heart move!
  • sentiment, "You're Cute as a Button Sew Let's Be Valentines" is also from this set
  • used Baker's Twine to stitch the outline of the heart
  • button button whose got the button - why Lynne does of course in her stash with one button on the sentiment and more buttons on the front - all buttons were hot-glued onto the card with no kitties getting hurt or burnt!
God Bless and thanks for stopping by today. I appreciate and love reading your comments . . is your comment the next one I read???

Much love, hugs, and friendship
Lynne
