Challenge

Due to my personal health conditions --- I have changed the date for challenge to be complete and I wanted to finish mine too........ Hope we have more participants with changing the date!!!!

I have posted a challenge for my Guest Designers and friends ---- My theme song that depicts my life is I'm a Survivor ----- here's the challenge and I will be posting that later this week:

I would to see to my friends do a layout depicting a song that they feel is their song and I will post them on Her Craftiness along with posting on your blogs by September 2, 2011........

Who is up to the challenge? I am then going to post them on Her Craftiness with people voting to their favorite by commenting . . . SEW, you can particpate by commenting and posting your song . . .

All challenges can be emailed to hercraftiness@gmail.com with your picture and let me know what your blog is that I can link up.

Oh, did I mention there is a prize of a mat stack of fall paper by DCWV that contains 72 sheets of 4.5 x 6.5 cardstock? Just look at the sample of the beautiful papers ... I know I'm drooling!!!

Susan E. Bermudez met the challenge and Susan, you are beautiful both inside and out!

And you know what? After 30+ years, I LOVE me. I am beautiful inside and out. On the tag, I chose to put these lyrics:

"I am beautiful no matter what they say,
words can't bring me down.
I am beautiful in every single way..."

I have never put so much thought into a layout and am so glad that I did. If there is anything that I want to come of this challenge, it would be that people educate themselves and their children on the dangers of bullying. Verbal abuse stays with you forever and it's very hard to recover from. So think about the next time you call someone a dummy, fat, ugly, weirdo, stupid, or freak. Everyone deserves to be respected and I hope that this helps just one person.

Shannon Myiow sent me an email with her layout:  Hi Lynne! I love your challenge. I love music. I have a couple layouts with lyrics but this was the short and sweet one.  I made this for my 10 year anniversary.  I love this song by Train and I think it is the perfect way to describe a marriage.

Now to post Shannon's great layout and a wonderful tribute to her marriage:

Who's post is next?

God bless my dear friends
Hugs and Love,
Lynne
