Scrapbook Blessings Make a Pretty Picture Challenge #11 Wishing You Birthday Fishes

When we just have to create and can't find that purrrfect paper and its 1:30 in the morning and there's no place open and no friends to share whadda do????? You create your own paper to compliment your card. That's just what I did for my card today. The current challenge with Scrapbook Blessings Challenge is Create a Pretty Picture using a stamp in your project BUT the Design Team took it one step further and created a pretty paper to compliment their card!!!! For the challenge, you only have to create a card with a pretty picture . . . . easy peasy!!!

BugABooStamps is our sponsor for this challenge and are offering seven (7) digis to one lucky winner!!!!!

Here's my paper that I had created along with my card!!!

Recipe;
  • paper is cut 4.25 x 11 inches and scored in half using navy Recollections card stock
  • stamped floral design around the edges using hot pink ink to create my own paper

  • using a multi-colored stamp pad, I then inked cupcakes overlapping on the floral background

  • I then got my white gel pen and drew little fishes and scribbles
  • Bugaboo Make it Snappy Birthday Fishes was colored using Spectrum Noir Markers with accents using Prisma Colored Pencils and gel pens
  • digital design was mounted on a piece of scrap paper
  • the fun then began with adding Stickles and Darice Glossy Accents to finish my card
Now, you've seen my creation - let's see yours . . .

God Bless and Thanks for stopping by today. I appreciate and love reading your comments . . is your comment the next one I read???

Much love, hugs, and friendship
