RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • size A2 card with Recollections blue gingham for background
  • image was colored with Whisper Strokes Markers, gel pen and Stickles accents 
  • background has been chalked on the image
  • ribbon was wrapped around card and tied into bow
  • sentiment was cut using Darice Embossing Die Cut and chalked around the edges
  • inside sentiment is another Create with TLC, which was cut using Darice Embossing Die Cut chalked around the edges and the birds and nest colored with Whisper Strokes Markers and Prisma Colored Pencils

Happy Birthday Bob!!!!

Today is Bob's birthday!!!! Who is Bob you ask . . . he's my boyfriend and has been for almost 5 years. I'm using a faux image of Marilyn Monroe from a previous Design Team I had been on - The Stamping Chef with Create with TLC sentiment: 


RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • size A2 card with Graphic 45 background and DCWV The Heritage Stack 
  • I had colored this image several years ago and never used it but decided it would be purrfect for Bob's card
  • image was colored with Spectrum Noir Markers and gel pen accents being fussy cut around the edges - I need my head examined!!!!
  • sentiment had been cut using Darice Embossing Die Cut and chalked around the edges and a previous freebie from Create with TLC 
  • inside sentiment is another Create with TLC which was cut using Darice Embossing Die Cut and chalked around the edges

It's Your Birthday!!!! Time to PAR-TEA!!!!

It's your birthday!!!! Time to par-tea with a sweet Alice in Wonderland image from Tiddly Inks holding a cup of tea

  • image was colored using Spectrum Noir and Whisper Stroke markers with gel pen and Stickles Accents 
  • Darice Die set behind Alice as if she was going through the "looking glass"
  • flowers were made using Fiskars Burst punch with rhinestone centers from Miriam's Crafting Supplies
  • trim at bottom is Darice decorative tape from the Dollar Tree
  • sentiment from Create with TLC Today is Your Day Digi Image and Word Art Set which was cut using Darice Die cut and chalked around the edges

A Quick Hello!

This adorable chicken was from a previous club at Create with TLC and was pre-colored with Create with TLC sentiments and just a lot of giggles while making her!

  • size A2 card with Studio G Blue Stack for background
  • image was pre-colored and fussy cut around the edges
  • spoon is from button stash
  • ribbon was wrapped around and tied into bow
  • yellow brick is Studio G Yellow Stack and was cut using Darice Embossing Die Cut 
  • sentiment had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC
  • inside sentiment is another Create with TLC  and has rounded corners which were chalked around the edges which is why I was giggling while making this card!!!

Piece of Cake

With birthdays, it's all about the cake with this adorable little hedgehog rubber stamp from Penny Black, Your Birthday which I had purchased when I first started crafting and never had used until this card:

  • inside sentiment is another Create with TLC Happy Birthday to You Word Art and Image Set which is one of my very most favorite sentiments to use and has rounded corners which were chalked around the edges

May Your Blessings Outnumber the Shamrocks that Grow

My dear friend, Beth, had asked me to make a special St. Patrick's Day card using this Irish blessing:

  • I wanted to showcase the blessing and mounted it on white, black and green paper
  • St. Patrick's Day ribbon from stash drawer wrapped around and then tied in a bow

Spring Rain With a New Brown Sugar Challenge Blog

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • size A2 card with scraps for background
  • image was colored with Spectrum Noir and Whisper Stroke Markers, Prisma Colored Pencils, gel pen accents and Darice Glossy Accents for the raindrops and puddle  
  • background was chalked around the image with rounded corners
  • buttons from my button tins - check closely as you will see a little frog under the umbrella button
  • gingham bow was also found in my button tin
  • sentiment from Create with TLC was cut using Darice Embossing Die Cut and chalked around the edges
