Woo Hoo I'm a Guest Designer for Canadian Nickel!!!

Woo Hoo!!! I am sew excited - I'm a Guest Designer today for Canadian Nickel!!! A dream come true!!! I must tell you that Canadian Nickel was the first Blog Hop that I had ever followed! I had applied and when she notified me that I was accepted, I was thrilled beyond belief and a dream come true. Now, with this being said, not only was I thrilled but frightened beyond belief. Talk about having one of your role models asking you to be a Guest Designer and only hoping that what you create will be good enuf to be displayed on her page!!! With this being said . . .

Recipe:
Card was cut at 7-inches using The Immortal Love paper
Frame was cut with black using Heritage Cricut cartridge at 6-inches - doesn't it look like velvet on this paper
Drucilla is Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and looks adorable
Sequin pins were dipped in glue and placed on the spots where Drucilla is placing the pins on her bear
Heart was added with a small brad and also part of Drucilla's rubber stamp
Coloring was done with my Prism colored pencils and shaded
Pearls are brilliant blue from www.queenandcompany.com
Turquoise glittery paper was from a package of paper from Pat Catan's Christmas papers
Heart button and ribbon are from my scrap bin

Drum roll please --- and now for my creativity

Thank you Canadian Nickel for allowing me this privilege and honor to be your Guest Designer!!!!

Now, as to my card - I am having trouble with coming up with a sentiment on the inside . . . I have had several ideas and just not satisfied and looking for suggestions.

I would love some bloggie love with some ideas for the sentiment on this card. If I like your sentiment there will be some candy!

God Bless
Hugs and Love
Lynne

  1. I know what you mean about being nervous, its my turn next week.
Looking at your work you had no need to be nervous though, your card looks great.
I thought those were staples, sooooo cool that they are tiny pins!!

As for the sentiment, I am not very good at those, but I will give it a try.
