Eleanor and Pickles Starting the Stuffing Early for Thanksgiving!

This is my favorite time of the year - Thanksgiving. It brings back fond memories of my Thanksgivings with my grandparents. Gram always made all holidays special but to me Thanksgiving was always the best. I love to cook Thanksgiving dinner even if it's just Bob and I because the aroma of the turkey and the pies brings all the memories rushing back in and I channel my Grandmother in the kitchen as she was the best cook ever!!!

This card began with the sentiment, "Let the Stuffing Begin", had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC which reminded me of the great dishes and all the stuffing that went with it!!!! The card then took a life of it's own and it went from there! I loved Lacy Sunshine Eleanor and Pickles Autumn Harvest and thought they made the purrfect match!!!

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • rust Recollection card stock was cut for 4.25 x 11 which was folded in half for a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card
  • background is DCWV Harvest Stack
  • Eleanor and Pickles were colored using Whisper Strokes Markers and then chalked around the edges
  • "Let the Stuffing Begin" had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC and was given a decorative corner punch and chalked around the edges with scraps for the background
  • turkey button is from my button TINS!!!!
  • corn is jolee's boutique for Fall Harvest
  • and of course feathers in Eleanor and Pickles' headdresses
Thanksgiving Blessings my friends. I do appreciate you stopping by to visit with me and I appreciate and love reading each and every comment . . is your comment the next one I read???

Much love, hugs, and friendship
and
Thanks
