I'm the Guest Designer for the month of July for Cardz 4 Guyz. The challenge for this week is no Designer Paper - WOWSERS!!!!! I'm sew used to using designer paper that it was a challenge . . . thus I reverted to doing a cut file using a file I had purchased from My Scrap Chick last year and hadn't used thus pulled it out of my wanna do list and here is my creation that I am totally in love with using Dog Tags!!!!
with sentiments that had been previous freebie from Create with TLC
RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
- using Make the Cut, Dog Tags were cut but my Cricut and I were not on speaking terms and it just didn't want to cut the stars!
- www.coordinationsfoundations was used for the 3 shades of grey for dog tags
- background for sentiments was a patriotic paper from my stash
- buttons are from button tins
- sentiments had been freebies from Create with TLC and chalked around the edges
Thank you for stopping and visiting today and hope you come back again!!!
I appreciate and love reading your comments . . is your comment the next one I read??? If you have any questions or need to contact me, I can be reached at hercraftiness@gmail.com
Much love, hugs, and friendship
Lynne

Wowsers is right! I think I would've started hyperventilating if someone told me no Designer papers! Yet you totally rose to the occasion and created some wonderful pieces here! I really loved seeing so many different takes on the same basic shape and I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. As cheesy as it sounds, they were all my favorite! Such a clever idea to go with dog tags as the main shape. It made me feel patriotic and grateful for our service men and women. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful! Love your designs! Great combination of colours and imagination! Great job! Thank you for joining us at Sister Act this week!
