First and foremost, I need to apologize to everyone. I started my projects but due to the recent storms we had in Pennsylvania, the basement flooded where I am living and I spent Wednesday and Thursday cleaning and moving things along with washing what needed washing. My body had informed me on Friday it was on strike and refused to do anything due to extreme pain. I have my projects started and hopefully, body cooperating, I will finish and post later in the day!
For my projects today, I chose:
July 1st which is Build a Scarecrow Day.
For my project, I decided to create my scarecrow as a plant poke and used the Simply Scarecrow Cricut Cartridge and enlarged it to be 10 inches tall and 7 inches wide using Recollection Card Stock in various colors along with pearls from Miriam's Crafting Supplies with faux stitching done with black gelly pen and all edges chalked. She was coated with ModPodge to seal her to use in my plant.

July 10th is Teddy Bear Picnic Day
which is a lay-out for Lily. My picnic table was cut using Cricut Block Party Cartridge. " Picnic at the Park" was cut using Kate's ABC's Cricut Cartridge. Background paper was a fabulous find at our local Pat Catan's for a whopping 10 cents a sheet and is a Karen Foster's Design. Teddy Bears were cut using Treasure Box Designs Trio of Bears with Life's Little Occasions by K&Co providing the little "glitz" stickers. Another reason why July 10th is an important date for me as it was my grandmother's birthday!!! She loved picnics and she would always hold picnics in her back yard with the grape arbors and apple trees. Lots of fond memories. My grandmother was someone who was very dear to me and my role model growing up.

July 25th is Threading the Needle Day which is near and dear to my heart as I had been a seamstress in a previous life as some of you already know.
I hope you were able to visualize my projects until the real things get posted. Your next stop along the way of the calendar is Janet. Thanks for

Thanks for the July Calendar Girls blog hop! It's fun to get some new inspiration!
Just popping back to see if there is any update to my question above. No problem - I'll check back again later. Or if it wouldn't be too terribly inconvenient, could you possibly send me a quick email at fitkitty1 at gmail dot com or comment on my blog:
