It's Your Day to Shine with a New Challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge Blog!

It's a new month which means a new challenge with Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge where it's always anything goes as long as long as you use a patterned paper!!!

This adorable image is from a recent club with Create with TLC along with the sentiment. I just love using gingham paper for my background and it is absolutely purrfect with this vintage image!!!

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:
  • Recollection card stock as a size A2 card (4.25 x 5.5 inch) with Recollection blue gingham as my background
  • image was colored using Prisma Colored Pencils with gel pen accents
  • Stickles and Darice Glossy Accents were used on the icing of the cake
  • navy Queen & Co. pearls added
  • white paper cut using Martha Stewart Eyelet Border Punch
  • blue gingham ribbon wrapped around border and tied into a bow
  • sentiment, "It's your day to shine - Happy Birthday" had been from Create with TLC The Dreaded Birthday Digi Word Art Set with rounded corners and chalked around the edges
  • inside sentiment is also from a previous club from Create with TLC, "You are a beautiful cupcake in a world full of muffins" has rounded corners, chalked around the edges and mounted on matching paper

Don't forget to enter your project into this month's challenge where the only limitation is to use a patterned paper on your project!!!!!!
