Nightmare Before Christmas Blog Hop

Tee and Jearise are collaborating on this hop because they both love The Nightmare Before Christmas and Jack Skellington. Take a ride to Halloweentown as we bring it alive through many creative projects from our awesome line up of crafters/bloggers.

Our sponsor for this hop is Cutting Cafe, who is giving away three files of the winner's choice. You can get qualified for the drawing, which will be held on October 15th, by leaving comments on each blog. The more blogs you comment on the more chances you have to win so please hop through all our bloggers.

Now on to Halloweentown... and a quote from Jack Skellington to get you on your way, "Just because I cannot see it, doesn't mean I can't believe it!"

For my project today, I used a stamp from Simply Betty Stamps to make a card:

RECIPE:

  • Made a round card using Spooky Circle from Birds Cards. Did I mention that she offers free files and this was a totally free file and you can sign up for her mailing list where you can get heads up on her new designs and projects!!! Now, how kewl is that???
  • Used Miss Betty Burton from Simply Betty Stamps which I colored with my Prisma colored pencils and puff-dotted on my card.
  • Added a piece of tulle which I had gathered as I thought she would look great with a veil
  • Background of my card is DCWV Ghosts and Goblin Stack which was welded and cut at 6-inches
  • Martha Stewart Halloween Brads of pumpkin, ghost, and spider web were added
  • Spooky Circle was cut using Black Recollection
  • Bat that was supposed to be "scrap" was inked with white and then double puff-dotted in place on my card
  • Black pearls were added on her dress to finish my card
  • Sentiment, "Happy Halloween" was stamped with orange ink on the inside
Thank you for stopping by today and now please continue on to the talented Lisa to see what spooky treat she has worked up for you today.
