Celebrate Women - Totally Amazing, Brilliant Woman . . .

March 8th was Celebrate Women Day but I feel Women should be celebrated every day!!!!! Create with TLC has a fabulous digi image and word set, Celebrate Women, Vintage Digi Image and Sentiment Set which I used for today's card with another card which is scheduled for tomorrow.

RECIPE:
  • card was cut 6 x 12 inches, scored with Martha Stewart Score Board and then folded in half using Kumari Embellish by Dena
  • backgrounds were cut using beige Recollection card stock 5.75 x 5.75 inches and 5.5 x 5.5 inches using teal Recollection card stock with using a border punch in each of the corners
  • Celebrate Women image was colored with Spectrum Noir markers with accents with gel pens
  • frames were cut and staggered using Cricut Elegant Edges Cartridge with scrap cardstock with centering image under the frame
  • Darice 1/4-inch satin loop edge ribbon goes on the left side with a bow for her hat
  • pearl trim around her hat using red Queen & Co. pearls and then the pearls went crazy with adding white and additional red pearls to accent the card
  • sentiment was chalked around the edge after using a rounded corner punch which was puff-dotted onto the card
I thank you for stopping by and visiting today. I appreciate and love reading your comments . . is your comment the next one I read???
