Kari's Butterfly Kisses Blogaversary

Hello My Friends!

Today my friends and I are having a hop to celebrate my one-year anniversary of my blog which is Jan 20th.  I can't believe how fast time has flown by!!  I am thrilled to say that it was an exciting and amazing year...I have met some of the most wonderful friends in the crafty world and there were many that helped me on my crafting journey...thanks to you all! and my followers who supported me and cheered me on as well! I am excited to continue the journey and share with you the amazing talent that is out there as well as my own creations...you are all a blessing!

We have the best and most fabulous sponsors for our hop that will just blow your mind!!!
  • Shannon Keith Leffew has a gift certificate for flowers in her Etsy Shop
  • Creative Kuts a $20 Gift Card at http://creativekuts.com/
  •      2 birthday cards made by her, Stamp Set from www.gettingcricky.com PLUS $10 Gift Certificate for Little Scraps of Heaven

Positive Thoughts Stamp Set
all that she is asking is that you stop by her blog at  http://www.scrappingmamma.net/ , become a follower, if you aren't already at her blog , and of course leave some bloggie love by telling her that you are hopping with Butterfly Kisses Blogaversary.

So, make sure you give bloggy love to all the designers and of course Kari! ...hehe...and have fun hopping along the way.

So without further ado lets get the party started.  The only requirement Kari made for this party was that everyone had to put a butterfly or butterflies in their creation. Gee, can you guess that Kari absolutely loves butterflies!!!

NOW, if you just happened to stop in and visit me today, I don't want you to miss a single project - SEW, please start of course at the beginning with our Miss Kari and congratulate on her 1-year milestone!!

If you hopped here from Christel, then you are at the right place and it is with pride and great pleasure that I want to show you my project . . .

I absolutely fell in love with the SVG Cuts Garden Nouveau svg kit some time ago and just had to have it and knew exactly that it was something I would make for Kari!!! It didn't get done for her birthday, didn't get done for Christmas but here ya go now Kari and expect this in the mail!!!

RECIPE:

  • I sized it as large as it could be sized and it is 7.5 inches tall less my butterfly feelers!!!
  • Papers I used are DCWV Mariposa Stack and DCWV Mulberry Mat Stack Neutral vellum
  • Must let you know that the glue gun was used for this project also and no burnt fingers or disasters - YAY!!!
  • Of course  the regular glue stick for the vellum
Here's my pride and joy --- Kari this is for you as you light up my life with your encouraging words along with I guess you could say its your "fault" I am now blogging and showing off my projects and hopping and ..... ok, you get my drift!!!

Let's take this one step further -- OK, I know you don't use real candles with paper but I was super careful and I wanted to take pictures with showing it lit and that meant a candle inside. The little battery-operated tea lights just weren't doing it for me . . . SEW, I put a votive candle in a votive cup and stood by with camera in-hand and snapped these pictures to show the beautiful glow -- guess its off to Michael's or Pat Catan's tomorrow to get a battery-operated light that has some height before I ship this off in the mail!!

What can I say, I love this and I most definitely want and need to make another one for me!!!! Hope you enjoyed my project as well and sew would love to hear your remarks!!!

Also, remember to leave comments to be in the running for our marvelous blog candy!!!! Again, thanks for stopping by and I enjoyed your company today in my bloggie world!

Your next stop is Vicki who is a wonderful designer with phenomenal projects!!!

God Bless you my friends
Hugs, Love, and Pixie Dust
