I've been a crafter it seems forever from when I was a little girl learning how to knit and crochet with my grandmother and my aunt; sitting under a quilting loom threading needles for Gram and the ladies at church; learning to sew, quilt, doll sculpting, counted cross stitch and now onto paper piecings with cards and lay-outs!!!! I guess you could say I'm a well-rounded gal in more ways than one!!! LOL
Happy Saturday, my friends - I'm sew glad you came to see my I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose for July 7, 2012.
This is what I did with Sketch #4 for July 7, 2012:
My scrap bin is a wonderful way to start when making a card. This sketch reminds me of Bernadette Peters, my elegant lady with the hat above my sentiment, with a Daisy's original paper background, How purrfect is that??? I added black velvet ribbon for the little strips on the top of a wedgewood blue lace which had been a ruffled lace but I removed the ruffling and put two (2) pieces together to give the wider appearance. The sentiment is from my brand new Hero Arts Everyday Stamps. I added three (3) black pearls o the upper left hand corner and a white pearl in the lady's hat on the bottom left hand corner.
I encourage you all to visit and check out her sketches by joining
her challenge by visiting her Facebook group! You can also visit her on I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose by becoming a follower.
Please make sure you check out my Design Team sisters' cards as well and see how they meet Daisy's Sketch Challenge!. I know you won't be disappointed.!
July Design Team:
God Bless You and Thank You for Visiting Today.
Be sure to stop back on a daily basis to see if I am able to meet the challenge of a card a day!!!!
Hugs, Love, and Pixie Dust,
Lynne
