I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose September 30, 2012

Welcome - I'm sew delighted you came to see several of my interpretations of I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose with Sketch #11 for September 30, 2012


  •  The sentiment I used was, "thank you" which was placed on a paper piecing using Cricut Lacey Labels Cartridge and the the top is outlined with white pearls and puff-dotted on my card
  • My card was cut 7 x 5.5 - inches using teal cardstock
  • My background paper was cut 6.75 x 4.75 inches and is from Tsunami Rose's zibbet store, 8.5x11 Vintage Digital Printable Scrapbook Paper, "Crown Roses" Teal
  • Oval faux cameo frame and square frames were cut using Little Scraps of Heaven Scalloped Shapes Pattern Set and then puff-dotted on card
  • Silhoutte was cut using Cricut Heritage Cartridge at 2-inches and then inked in brown distress ink and puff-dotted on frame
  • Roses were stamped in the center of the squares to simulate the bottom and side of my card
  • 1/8 - inch ribbon was added in two rows across the card with a bow tied using two (2) strands of the ribbon
  • All edges were inked with teal 
  • White pearls were added on three (3) sides of the square frames, left side of cameo, upper right and lower left corners to finish my card

I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose September 29, 2012

  •  The sentiment I used was, "thinking of you" which was placed on an eyelet circle cut using Doilies from Designs on Cloud 9 which was cut on navy Recollections cardstock and then faux-stitched in white gel pen
  • My card was cut 6 x 6 - inches using teal cardstock
  • My background paper was cut 5.75 x 5.75 inches and is from Tsunami Rose's zibbet store, 8.5x11 Vintage Digital Printable Scrapbook Paper, "Crown Roses" Teal
  • Circle and pennant were cut from my scrap bin
  • A navy pearl bow on the tag, cameo in upper right corner, vintage rose near eyelet circle and pearl heart button finish my card

I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose September 28, 2012

Welcome - I'm sew delighted you came to see several of my interpretations of I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose with Sketch #27 for September 28, 2012


  •  The sentiment I used was, "enjoy the moment" as I had been inspired by how wonderful my life has become. Sentiment is on white Recollection cardstock and inked in purple around the edges
  • My card was cut 6 x 6 - inches using lilac cardstock
  • My background paper was cut 5.75 x 5.75 inches and is from Tsunami Rose's zibbet store, 8x8 Vintage Digital Printable Scrapbook Paper, "Vintage Airplanes" B&W. NOW, you may notice that mine look more lilac, that's the color you get when your printer is running out of ink! LOL
  • The square piece of paper is from Tsunami Rose's zibbet store, 3x3 Printable Epherma "Destinations"
  • Lace edging was cut using my Marth Stewart Eyelet Lace border punch in lila and white papers
  • Flower rosette was added to the top right corner with a purple button center.
  • Airplane was cut using my Cricut Heritage Cartridge at 3-inches with black Recolleciton paper.

I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose September 26 & 27, 2012

Welcome - I'm sew delighted you came to see several of my interpretations of I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose with my first card being Sketch #23 for September 26, 2012


  •  The sentiment I used was, "confidence is sexy" 
  • My card was cut 6 x 6 - inches with Me and My Big Ideas Specialty Cardstock
  • The corset tag was a previous freebie from Tsunami Rose Designs
  • The foxy lady in the center was found on an internet search when I typed in pin-ups
  • I used my colored pencils to color in and around the corset along with inking the edge
  • Don't you just love the corset accent piece - purrfect combination!
  • Background paper was cut at 5.75 x 5.75 inches using one of Tsunami Rose Designs, 8.5 x 11 Vintage Digital Printable Scrapbook Paper - "Crown Paper" B&W
My second card that I would love to share with you today is I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose for Sketch #19 September 27, 2012:



  • My card was cut 6 x 6 - inches using DCWV Ghosts and Goblins
  • The sentiment is a Studio G brad
  • My background paper is a Tsunami Rose paper which I cut in sections to give that refracted look
  • JoLee Spiders and Skeleton Cameos added the finishing touches along with a black pearl for kitty's nose

I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose September 24, 2012

Welcome - I'm sew delighted you came to see my interpretations of I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose with Sketch #26 for September 24, 2012




  •  The sentiment I used was, "Happy Birthday" 
  • My card was cut 6 x 6 - inches using DCWV Spring Shower Stack
  • My background paper a Tsunami Rose paper which you can find at her zibbet store which is one of the free papers in her I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose September Sketches which includes 30 sketches PLUS 2 free scrap printable paper!!!
  • The tall piece of paper that was used which looks like a ledger with #365 on top is another one of Tsunami Rose papers which you can find at her zibbet store which is her 6x6 Vintage Digital Printable Scrapbook Paper - "Vintage Country Flowers" 
  • The square piece of pink musical paper is another of Tsunami Rose papers which you can also find at her zibbet store, 8.5 x 11 Vintage Digital Printable Scrapbook Paper - "Vintage Music Sheet" Pink
  • Doily was cut using Make the Cut and Designs on Cloud 9 Doilies 
  • Blue pearls are in the center of the ledger sheet of paper along with 4 little blue pearls outlining the center of my white feather with an additional 2 white pearls on the Happy Birthday banner in the center of the flowers
  • Edges were inked on all the pieces with blue
  • Two (2) pink flowers were put on the heart which were purchased at Michael's

    WOWSERS


    WOWSERS~~~ I’m such a fortunate gal today as not only am I a Guest Designer for Jearise of Lorby’s World, BUT also a Guest Designer for Susan of Susan’s Corner, BUT IF IT COULDN’T GET ANY BETTER, I am the very first, yes my lovelies, the very FIRST to sample cut an original paper piecing file by our most beautiful and creative Jearise!!!! Now, how does that beat all??

    Here is Jearise’s Little Miss Spider which I made into a card with a homemade wobble

    • Card was cut 4.25 x 5.5 inches and used a lime green
    • Background is DCWV Ghosts and Goblins
    • Spider was cut at 5-inches
    • Scraps were used for cutting her
    • Orange bow for her web she is dangling from
    • Lacy Labels for the sentiment “boo” to be placed
    • Inked, chalked which I do have the pretty fingers to prove that
    • Google eyes to google at you while she is a wobbling!!!!!

    Isn't she adorable??? Now, I hope you enjoy her as much as I have. Please stop and give Jearise some bloggie love and tell her how talented she is when making paper piecing files!!!!

    Yohoho mateys and welcome to the Pirate Blog hop in honor of "Talk like a pirate day" today.     Guest Designer Wednesday - Laura Davidson

    I am truly blessed with wonderful friends that are also my Guest Designers – today, I have the very very talented Laura Davidson of Laura Lee's Dream.  

    Hi Everyone... happy wednesday! Today I am guest designing and we are doing projects about school.

    The colours Lynne asked us to use are white, yellow, red and brown.


    I found this digi online but I can't find the place where I found it.. I usually add the name to the digi but I guess not this time.
    I coloured it with copics. I am still learning how to shade. I thought this was different..

    I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose for September 14, 15, and 16, 2012

    Welcome - I'm sew delighted you came to see several of my interpretations of I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose with my first card being Sketch #14 for September 14, 2012



    •  The sentiment I used was, "Happy Birthday" 
    • My card was cut 6 x 6 - inches with DCWV Mariposa Stack
    • My sentiment was added along with my background paper a Tsunami Rose paper
    • Doily were cut using Make the Cut and Designs on Cloud 9 Doilies 
    • Yellow pearls are in the center of the flowers on the bottom left corner along with the black embossing on the right side flower with 4 black pearls on the Happy Birthday banner
    • Cuttlebug embossing folder on black Recollection cardstock and then inked with cream chalk
    • Green on top was punched using Fiskars butterfly punch
    • Arrow was cut using my background paper per an idea seen in Quick Cards
    My second card that I would love to share with you today is I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose for Sketch #7 September 15, 2012:



    • The sentiment I used was, "everything is better with a friend" 
    • My card was cut 5.5 x 5.5 - inches with Recollections Red card stock
    • My sentiment was added on a white background
    • My background paper is a Tsunami Rose 8.5 x 11 Vintage Digital Printable Scrapbook Paper - "Floral Motif Paper Pack" 
    • Both doilies were cut using Make the Cut and Designs on Cloud 9 Doilies that using Make the Cut made them more oval-shaped 
    • White pearls are on the upper left corner, in the dark blue oval, and outlining the blue doily; pink pearls are in the center of the white elongated strips; and red pearls are on the four (4) corners of the sentiment
