For my cards today, I thought I would give you a double your pleasure by combining my two cards (National Sewing Month and Oktoberfest) with my I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose as I am on her Design Team . . . what a challenge, but I feel I met the requirements for both and hope you think sew also!!!

- I love Sketches by Tsunami Rose Sketch #22 for September 2012
- card was cut as a 5.50 x 5.50 using my DCWV The Crafty Stack
- background was cut 5 x 5 inches using one of my wonderful scraps from Rachelle Larsen
- Hero Art Sew Stylish stamp for pattern lady
- Close to My Heart Simple Stitches for sentiment and "zig zag" faux stitching
- Close to My Heart Tailor Made for sewing machine
- sewing machine charm purchased through DK Crafts
- yellow ribbon
- faux white stitching around perimeter of card
- EK border punch binding edge
My second card is for Oktoberfest -- its all abut beer isn't it??
Recipe for my Oktoberfest card:
- I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose Sketch #15 for September 2012
- card was cut 6 x 6 inches using my DCWV La Creme' Stack
- background was cut 5.5 x 5.5 inches
- sentiment is quotes from Victor Borge, "Laughter is the shortest distance between two people" and another sentiment with Katherine Hepburn, "If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun" stamped on white Recollection cardstock
- red gingham ribbon in a wonderful "happy mail" box from Rachelle Larsen
- wonderful buxom "Fraulein" is a digi by Heather Valentin named Heidi which was coloring with my Prisma colored pencils
- bling bling is a package of rhinestones from my granddaughter Sasha
- wish I had my Glossy Accents where I'm at for the froth of the beer but will add that when I get my Glossy Accents
