I had previously entered a lay-out and card that I had made for Crafty Girls Design Team Project for January 21st in Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge Blog and have been given the honor of being February's Guest Designer!!!! This is my final week of being Guest Designer . . . Their theme this week is "Little Boy Blue". Here is my take on their challenge:
Recipe:
- Recollection blue cardstock cut to size A2 card with Recollection blue gingham as my background
- following the challenge at MFT Challenge Sketch #216, I used ribbon to "draw" a separate line
- little boy painting was found as a coloring page on the computer (if anyone knows whose image this is, please let me know that I can give proper credit - thank you) was colored using Prisma Colored Pencils, Whisper Strokes, Spectrum Noir Markers and gel pen accents
- Darice Glossy Accents was used for the paint spotches
- sentiment, "Conscience - That little voice that tells you not to do what you already did", had been a previous freebie from Create with TLC and is chalked around the edges
- button is hot-glued onto the card with coordinating blue ribbon tied into a bow
How's that for a great card for the guy in your life that was super easy once I got a game plan in place!!!!
I appreciate and love reading your comments . . is your comment the next one I read???
Much love, hugs, and friendship
Lynne
