Happy Newspaper Carrier Day!!!! How many of us actually still get a newspaper delivered to our home rather than to our computer???? I know that I no longer receive a home paper and only occasionally get one on Sunday if I think about it for the coupons. Everything is computer generated now-a-days but I can remember when my brother and sister were news carriers and I would get up on Sunday mornings and drive them to the apartment buildings they had to deliver the papers to before church. I'm a good bit older than my siblings whereas I could drive and the papers were too heavy for them to carry and deliver.
SUPPLIES:
- DCWV LeCreme Stack cut 8.5 x 5.5 inches for a size A card
- MME Moments cut 4 x 5.24 inches - especially liked to use this piece as it reminded me of newsprint
- Lacy Sunshine Rory Sweet Urchin was colored with Spectrum Noir Markers with gel pen accents
- Create with TLC, "Just Because", sentiment was a previous freebie was chalked around the edges
- Darice 1/2-inch blue satin ribbon was wrapped around the background
- red flowers compliments of my dear friend, Edwina Brown with yellow Queen & Co. Pearls
