The Stamping Chef "Metal" Challenge

The Stamping Chef has a new challenge for the next two (2) weeks called "Metal". You don't have to use an image from The Stamping Chef, but if you do, your entry qualifies as a double chance to win!!! The winner selected will win 3 digis of their choice, BUT, there is a TOP 3!!! Why don't you add your project to the linky for a chance to win. Its pretty easy peasy don't you think??? Check out the Design Team projects for inspiration including my project below:

For my project, I decided to go with my "steampunk" attitude and chose to work with Steampunk Hat

Now, for the recipe:
  • card was cut using Recollections paper at 5 x 11 inches and then scored at 5.5-inches using Martha Stewart Score Board
  • used corner punch on the lower left corner
  • aluminum foil was embossed with my Cuttlebug and inked (say tuned for tomorrow as I will have a tutorial on how to emboss aluminum!!)
  • Steampunk Hat was colored using my Spectrum Noir Markers with hi-lights using my Gelly Pens
  • Pearl, Bronze-Toned Rounded Gear, and Bronze Toned Fancy Key Charm are from Miriam's Crafting Supplies
  • Sentiment is from Tiddly Inks Steampunk Sentiments Mega Pack
  • burgendy tulle was gathered and added to the hat for veil with a bow to attach the Bronze Toned Fancy Key Charm to the hat
God Bless and Thank you for stopping by today!!! Please take a moment to sign up for The Stamping Chef blog emails and at least try one of the her freebies she is currently offering!!!! You can also find her on Facebook!!!

Much Love, Hugs, and Friendship
