White as Snow Blog Hop

Welcome to the White as Snow Blog Hop where the idea was to either create something that has white as a primary color or as the background. I'm sure some of these crafty bloggers got creative and combined both but you will only be able to find out by hopping along with us today...

Our hostess for this hop is Jearise from Lorby's World (link to - http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com) and it's a good thing to start at her blog because she has a special give away of her own and all the details are on her blog.

We also have a guest blogger, Anita from Anita and Bugs, who also has an awesome give away on her blog.

Our wonderful sponsor for today's blog hop is THE CUTTING CAFE (link to - http://thecuttingcafe.typepad.com/the_cutting_cafe/) so please make sure you visit their online store to see all the wonderful cutting and printable files they have.

The Cutting Cafe is giving away to one lucky winner 3 files of their choice. To qualify, you need to visit The Cutting Cafe store (link to - http://thecuttingcafe.typepad.com/the_cutting_cafe/) and then "like" The Cutting Cafe on FACEBOOK (link to - https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Cutting-Cafe/162767407068793?ref=ts&fref=ts) and let Regina, the owner, know that you came from the White as Snow Blog. I can tell you now that if you like printable sayings and cutting files, you will love her designs and she has specials going on all the time on her FACEBOOK page.

Now on to the hop...

I have two (2), yes count them 2 projects for you today!!!!! My first project is a one-page lay-out using Simple Christmas/Winter Set from Treasure Box Designs.

RECIPE:
  • Treasure Box Designs Simple Christmas/Winter Set - snowmen only with additional snowflakes
  • DCWV Winter Wonder Stack for background and mats
  • ribbon is Holiday Inspirations for JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts
  • scraps for the snowmen and scarfs
  • snowflakes are puff-dotted on with only one in the center
For my next project, I decided to do a "triple stamp card" using a snowflake stamp and a snowman stamp with a sentiment.

RECIPE:
  • paper is Recollections
  • paper is cut for the stamped layer: 2 x 3.25 inches, 3 x 4.25 inches and 4 x 5.25 inches
  • background paper is cut 2.25 x 3.5 inches, 3.25 x 4.5 inches
  • card is cut 8.5 x 5.5 and scored in half
  • layer the top layer on top of each other without the background paper and randomly stamp your images
  • ribbons can be added
  • cut additional snowflakes using my Darice snowflake punch with pearl centers
  • pearls are from Miriam's Crafting Supplies
Thank you so much for joining us today and your next stop is the talented Amanda.

The complete line-up in case you get lost in a snow drift which hopefully, is the white kind!!!!

God Bless you and thanks ever sew much for stopping by today and help me reach 400 followers as we shall P-A-R-T-Y!!!!!
Much love, hugs, and friendship
