Welcome to My Community Blog Hop. Every town has special things
in their communities. Whether it is the town hall, bandstand, fire station, library, or
the people!!!! This hop is dedicated to our communities and the importance in our
lives!
We have a wonderful group of town’s people to share with you

We do have some blog candy including but not limited to some
road map paper that you don't get lost along the way which you can qualify for
my leaving a comment on each stop along the way!!!
Let the Town Meeting begin as I tell you a little bit about my
Community! I just recently moved to a tiny little community that has a great
small town feel where I can walk from one end to the other and back! When, I
travel I sew love to visit the little towns where they have their bandstands
and such and take tons of pictures.
For my project, I have made a birthday card with an adorable
fireman along with his dog. My grandsons love firetrucks and their Pap is a
retired fireman!
RECIPE:
- Paper piecing from Little Scraps of Heaven In My CommunityFireman which were puff-dotted to add dimension
- My card was made using Sketch #4 for November 14, 2012 for I Love Sketches by Tsunami Rose
- Card was cut 6 x 12 inches using DCWV La Crème and then scored in half
- Lego background paper was cut 5.75 x 5.75 inches with a piece 4 x 4 of orange tie-dye on top and an orange glitter piece of 2 x 3 inches
- Flags were cute using my Fiskar Pennant punch and then added orange baker’s twine with bows on either end
- Little tiny rhinestones were added for the water for my hose with Birthday Wishes hand-written within
- All edges were inked for dimension and character
God Bless
